“17 Miracles,” which opened June 3, has earned more money per location than movies like “X-Men: First Class,” “Kung Fu Panda 2,” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” according to distributor Excel Entertainment, a division of Deseret Book Company. An Excel release reported that “17 Miracles” earned more than $3,200 per location on Monday, while playing on only 12 screens. The national per location average for “X-Men: First Class” was less than $1,600.
Director T.C. Christensen’s new film, “17 Miracles,” is doing well at the box office.
