Friday and Saturday nights had free shows every half hour and brought beautiful, clear skies for the 13th annual living Nativity, but Sunday night brought torrents of rain. The biblical cast, the singers and the audience all braved the elements on Sunday night. The audience either huddled under three over-sized tents or sat on wet chairs with large umbrellas.
Santa Margarita California Stake President Sterling Brennan said, "This event is really a miracle. We don't charge for admission and no one is ever paid for their work. This year the people of Rancho Santa Margarita and the surrounding communities donated over 1,400 hours to make it happen."
