'I'm a Mormon' campaign in Denver and other cities aims to explain church

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will launch a campaign next week in a dozen U.S. cities, including Denver, to help Americans better understand Mormons.

Television spots, billboards, bus ads, Internet promotions and other media will offer a glimpse into the lives of Mormons, church officials say, and correct misconceptions about the church's teachings and practices. The "I'm a Mormon" campaign begins next week in Denver; San Antonio and Austin in Texas; Atlanta; Phoenix; Spokane and Seattle-Tacoma in Washington; Omaha and Lincoln-Hastings in Nebraska; and Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and South Bend in Indiana.
