"I was waking up in the morning and wishing I didn't exist," Mike says.
After losing his father to brain cancer and delving into alcoholism, Mike began contemplating suicide when he had the impression that he should get on his knees and pray.
"The only thing that I could get out of my mouth was help me,'" Mike says in the Mormon Channel video "Returning to Prayer."
After feeling the love the Savior had for him, Mike tried to return to Church. But it was only after a traumatic accident that things really changed in his life.
