"Promising" Rugby Player Leaves Team for a 2-year LDS Mission

Rabbitohs winger Richie Kennar has been released from the final year of his contract to serve a two-year Mormon mission, commencing in 2019.

The 23-year-old will see out the rest of the season, having played just six games with a foot injury keeping him out of action long-term.
