"You Never Know How Much Good You Do"

I’m going to let you in on a little secret: as a performer, I have some real self-esteem issues. I frequently struggle with the feeling that my singing and acting talents aren’t good enough, and that I leave my audiences uninspired and unimpressed. I can spend many useless hours critiquing myself and thinking about all the things I could and should have done better in my performances. These feelings of incompetence and failure plague my mind and threaten to drag me down.

Sound familiar?

As we throw ourselves into the many performances and tasks of daily life, it can leave us feeling like we have failed and have accomplished nothing of value at all.

I’d like to share with you something I learned from President Hinckley that gave me the insight and power I needed to overcome these feelings of inadequacy.
