In a devotional address at Brigham Young University's Education Week on Aug. 19, Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles encouraged members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to use social media to share gospel messages.

Facebook: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Facebook page has more than 1.1 million likes. This page provides information about the LDS Church in addition to inspirational videos and images that illustrate the beliefs of Latter-day Saints.

Google+: The LDS Church Google+ account has more than 10,000 followers and more than 6 million views.

Mormon.org

Facebook: The Mormon.org Facebook page has more than 5 million likes. The page shares video messages and picture quotes encouraging families to live the standards of the gospel. Visitors are also directed to mormon.org, which educates people on what it means to be a Mormon.
