8th Annual South Jordan Utah Temple to Temple Steeplechase
Monday, September 5, 2016 (Labor Day) 7am

The steeplechase is a sport
that began as a race through the countryside
from one church steeple to another
with natural obstacles to cross along the way.

Our steeplechase is a personal race
—a wonderful journey from temple to temple steeple—
with symbolic obstacles to cross along the way.

South Jordan was the first city in the world to have two LDS temples—Oquirrh Mountain and Jordan River. Come join our 5-mile steeplechase between these two angel Moroni-capped steeples. Open your eyes to the glories around you (sunrise, mountaintops, valley views, flowers). And learn that no steeplechase would be complete without a few obstacles along the way (highways, canals, gutters, bumps). Find metaphors of life throughout the course of this inspiring Temple to Temple Steeplechase. Run or walk but enjoy the journey! Everyone is invited. Every participant receives a specially designed medallion and treat.
$20 for adult, $10 for youth and children (under 18).  Rates increase after August 22nd.
