An Open Response re: Modesty Lessons for Children

(What do you mean I’m harping on this one? Harps are pretty!)

So, I was reading a blog post on a Primary Sharing Time modesty lesson today.

So, we have a good woman invested in serving in her calling, and sharing her efforts to do so with others. I think that’s great. I had some serious misgivings about method and unintended messages, and would have liked to have a discussion with her on her own blog about the matter, but unfortunately, she was not interested in allowing my response into her own public space, nor in addressing me there. And hey, okay, it’s her blog, she is well within her rights to control the message there.

Fortunately for me, I have also have a public place where I can keep the discussion going, and I think it’s a discussion well worth having.
