Anti-porn group launches online petition, boycott of 'The Playboy Club'

Morality in Media is leading a coalition of anti-porn groups in a campaign it hopes will get advertisers to pull their ads from the NBC drama "The Playboy Club."

The group's president, Patrick A. Trueman, told the Christian Post that the series will "contribute to the objectification and exploitation of women and encourage greater acceptance of pornography."

An online petition titled "Close the Playboy Club on NBC" asks supporters to pledge not to watch the show. It also encourages the network to cancel the show. And it wants a boycott of companies that advertise on the show.
