Thanks to Deseret News for making us aware of this event.

In recent years, stakes all around the world have begun rebuilding the Tabernacle of Moses, complete with the Ark of the Covenant, with the help of the young men and young women. In August 2015, the Meridian North Idaho Stake built a full-scale replica of the Tabernacle of Moses, and the following year the Murrieta and Huntington Beach Stakes created their own tabernacle experience.

Now, BYU is bringing the tabernacle described in the Old Testament to Utah. Tours of the tabernacle are free and begin at the Joseph Smith Lobby, where visitors can also see a display that prepares them for the 50-minute guided tour. Tours will run through October 29 and will be held from 4 to 8:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 9  a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekends, but tours offered on Sunday will be self-guided.

About the event, byu.edu says, "The Bible depicts the Tabernacle as sacred space, the primary place of Israelite worship. We invite visitors to reflect on the sacred nature this had for ancient Israelites and to act accordingly as they tour this replica."
