BYU student engineers tops at national competition

Brigham Young University engineering students recently placed first at the 2nd Annual ITE Collegiate Traffic Bowl Grand Championship during the 2011 Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Annual Meeting Exhibit in St. Louis, Missouri.

Following the final competition featuring nine teams from universities throughout the United States and Canada, BYU’s engineering team received $2,000 as well as a travel grant and complimentary student registrations to participate in the International Annual Meeting in St. Louis.
