Earlier this week, a car caught fire in the parking lot of the Draper Utah Temple, extensively damaging two other cars.
The cause of the fire is still unknown. Fire officials were called to the scene to suppress the flames, but the car was a total loss, according to KSL 5 newscaster Ashley Moser.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the fire.
The Draper Utah Temple, the 12th temple built in Utah and the third in the Salt Lake Valley, has an expansive parking lot with 492 spaces. The fire occurred in an outer lot and the temple remains unharmed.
