Church History Library receives international media award

A 15-minute video shown to people entering the Church History Library has won a prestigious international award. The video recently received an Aegis video and film production award as well as a Gold Plaque in the public relations category at the INTERCOM International Communications Media Competition presented by the Chicago International Film Festival.

The video, “The Story Lives Here,” highlights an experience in the life of Joseph Millet, an early pioneer of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His experience was recorded in his journal, and excerpts of that journal were eventually copied into his daughter’s journal, which resides now in the Church History Library, along with hundreds of other personal journals. Joseph Millet’s daughter’s journal that contains his experience is available to view at the library under glass.
