Doubters be gone, Y.'s Max Hall is in the NFL

Max Hall is cashing an NFL paycheck and will do so for the foreseeable future.

That surprises some who doubted; for others, it doesn't surprise at all.

One of Hall's believers is his college quarterback coach, Brandon Doman.

"He's excited and elated about the opportunity," said the BYU quarterback coach, who speaks to Hall frequently.

"I went online and they have him listed No. 2. From where he's been to where he is now? I'm not surprised at all. I am surprised nobody drafted him. I think the Cardinals got a steal of a deal and they know it now.

"Once they got him into fall camp, they recognized who he is, what he can do and what he brings to the table. They saw how players rallied around him, what kind of energy he brought to the field, that he's kind of a gym rat. I wouldn't be surprised he made it and the decision he made. We saw that at BYU. I wouldn't be surprised if he's playing for them."
