Elder Hallstrom encourages students to depend on the Lord

The importance of depending on the Lord during this time of life was emphasized to students in Tuesday’s Devotional by Elder Donald L. Hallstrom, of the Presidency of the Seventy.

“My dear young friends, during this critical time of higher education and transition from youth to adulthood, it is profoundly important that you establish a foundation of loyalty to the Lord,” Elder Hallstrom said. “Your very future, your family’s future and the future of the Church depend on it.”

Reflecting on his days at BYU, where he and his wife met 39 years ago, Elder Hallstrom shared advice for students by telling of experiences he had growing up in the islands of Hawaii.
