This Elders Quorum Presidency Decorated for a Ward Party. The Results Were Incredible and Hilarious.

If you’ve ever been in charge of planning and executing a ward party, you know it can be stressful. But you can always count on the Relief Society for beautiful decorations.

But elders quorum president Steve Wigginton from California had a different idea when he put his presidency in charge of the table decorations. He challenged them to plan as the Relief Society would in any official ward event.

Steve wrote, “In preparation for our annual BBQ dinner for the adults in the ward, I challenged my presidency to come up with table decorations, following the pattern of the Relief Society: A clear theme. Can be viewed from all angles. Color-coordinated. Use a colored table runner to provide contrast and a foundation. Add scattered, sparkling accents for a final touch of elegance. The presidency came through in a very big way.”

He noted how each table had a different theme, ranging from drilling and demolition to auto and electrical repair. The pictures show some true creativity, hard work, and dedication.
