FHE: Thanksgiving Gratitude Letters

PURPOSE: DURING THE THANKSGIVING SEASON, WE OFTEN REFLECT ON THE MANY BLESSINGS WE ENJOY. AS WE THINK OF THESE THINGS, WE SHOULD ALSO THINK ABOUT THOSE THAT HAVE IMPACTED OUR LIFE FOR GOOD. THIS FAMILY HOME EVENING ACTIVITY IS CENTERED ON MAKING LETTERS FOR THOSE YOU WANT TO EXPRESS GRATITUDE TOWARDS THIS THANKSGIVING SEASON.

Scripture: Psalms 100:4

Lesson:

The Apostle Paul described our day when he spoke with Timothy and said, “For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy…” (2 Tim. 3:2). Do you find it hard to show sincere gratitude for and towards others- especially when they have helped you?
