Faithful servant to family, members, friends

In a small branch in northern New Mexico lives a man who has epitomized King Benjamin's counsel of serving God through serving others. On sunny days he can be found mowing lawns. On snowy days he shovels sidewalks and every day he diligently serves those around him.

"He is the kind of man who speaks quietly, but what he says speaks volumes," wrote Sherri Anderson of the Belmont Ridge Ward, Ashburn Virginia Stake.

Her father, Leonard Jensen, served as president of the Chama Branch, Santa Fe New Mexico Stake for the past 34 years. Every Saturday he prepared a talk for Sunday but on June 12, that tradition came to end when he was released from the calling.
