Former presiding bishop H. David Burton appointed to UTA board

Gov. Gary Herbert on Thursday appointed H. David Burton to serve on the board of directors of the Utah Transit Authority.

Burton was recently released as the presiding bishop of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a position he held for 16 years.
