Cancer—that was the word that set Laura scrambling to help her sister Carol when she called to share her diagnosis.

It was an aggressive form of cancer, and Laura and her family desperately wanted to be with Carol—who lived in California—as much as possible to help her.

Carol was not LDS and as her church community rallied around her, Laura was inspired by their Christ-like service to her sister.

Through their service and love, these friends strove to "nourish the whole soul" by sharing breathtaking sunsets, music, and their unique talents.
