Wales

Image title

Ages ago, men in Wales used to present wooden spoons to women they were interested in marrying. The spoons would be intricately carved with a symbol that represented them, and the tradition of giving “love spoons” continues today. A wooden spoon would make a fun and unique gift for a close friend or loved one on Valentine’s Day. If you’re into DIY projects, you could paint or wood-burn a meaningful design onto the spoon.
