A Summit County fire that is burning on 20 acres of land in Utah as of Thursday evening forced the evacuation of many hikers in the area, including Boy Scouts.

Helicopters evacuated two Boy Scout troops from a hiking trail near a wildfire Thursday evening, the U.S. Forest Service reported.

The troops were hiking near Smith and Morehouse Reservoir in Summit County when fire authorities evacuated them because of an encroaching wildfire, said U.S. Forest Service spokeswoman Loyal Clark.
