The president of the Annapolis Maryland Stake and head coach of the football team at The United States Naval Academy, Ken Niumatalolo, knows how to keep everything in perspective, according to a recent article in Church News

On Saturday, the Navy will play the Army in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in what some people regard as one of the best rivalries in college football. This year the outcome of the game has increased expectations for Coach Niumatalolo and his team. There are three main things Navy will look to accomplish on Saturday with a win against Army: Navy can lay hold of the Commander-In-Chief Trophy by winning the rivalry game, Coach Niumatalolo will become the coach with the most wins in the storied rivalry for Navy, and Navy can secure a double-digit win total on the season.

Even though Niumatalolo has all of these expectations and duties as head coach of a D1 university, all of these events and goals aren't the highlight of his week or the focus on his mind.

Rather than focusing on making history, his focus every Sunday of each week is on partaking of the sacrament with his fellow Latter-day Saints.

“By making the Savior the center of your life and partaking of the sacrament, you focus on the Atonement of Jesus Christ,” Niumatalolo told Church News. “The sacrament helps all of us center our lives. That’s the main thing.”
