On June 28, the Human Resource Department of the Church announced some big changes for Church employees.

Among these changes were adjustments to dress standards that would allow women to wear dress slacks or pantsuits and men to wear white or light-colored dress shirts with ties.

In addition, the Church is making changes to employee benefits which would include a new wellness program and center as well as up to six weeks paid maternity leave, one week paid parental leave, and a new short-term disability plan, according to the Deseret News.

As part of the Church's new global employee wellness program, employees will have access to a free gym in the Church Office Building set to be finished this fall as well as wearable fitness trackers, education on nutrition and fitness, on-site exercise classes, wellness coaches, race reimbursements, and other incentives.
