In response to government-mandated healthcare rulings requiring corporations to provide heath insurance for full time employees, the LDS Church is cutting hours for workers at Deseret Industries. The jobs, which often go to refugees, recovering addicts, and those lacking strong educational backgrounds, don’t currently provide insurance for most employees.
