LDS Church shows support for President, leaders attend inauguration

Since inauguration day fell on a Monday this year, my family watched a recorded version of the ceremony for our weekly Family Home Evening so our children could not only watch history unfold, but also understand the importance of what our Founding Fathers worked so hard to create.

Though the pomp and circumstance is always exciting no matter which party’s candidate is elected, my family was most excited to see those in attendance, which included two Church apostles, Elders L. Tom Perry and Quentin L. Cook, who represented the Church at the presidential inauguration.
