LDS Mission Office Parking Lot Raises Concerns Among Neighbors

Residents in the Joaquin neighborhood are concerned plans for a bigger parking lot at the Provo LDS Mission Office, 85 N. 600 East, will bring more congestion, and more pavement while eliminating greenery to their neighborhood. They are also concerned it will be unsafe for children walking to school. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is requesting to expand the parking lot because of substantial growth in the mission and to help with a 14-passenger van and trailer used for luggage and the transferring of missionaries.
