LDS Teen Dies After 100-Foot Fall, Family Remembers Her as "Beautiful Inside and Out"

“She was so great, she wasn’t afraid to speak her mind, and she was brave, and she was kind, and she was so funny," Lindsey Jackson says of Kaylee Marvin, who died after a 100-foot fall. “She still is, up in heaven — loving horses, and camping and fishing,”

Utah County Sheriff’s Office identified the teenage girl who fell to her death in Santaquin Canyon Monday morning.

It happened near a waterfall about four miles from the entrance of Santaquin Canyon.

Deputies said Kaylee Marvin, 16, of Santaquin was hiking with a friend near the top of a steep climb when she lost her footing while trying to cross a log.
