LDS missionaries safe in Thailand, Greece

LDS Church missionaries serving in Thailand and Greece are all reported as safe from ongoing anti-government protests and violence in both country.

In the Thailand Bangkok Mission, work has continued as normal, as Red Shirt protests are contained to a relative small area of the Thai capital.

Six missionaries serving in the affected area were reassigned several weeks ago, and two nearby meetinghouses area have been closed until the conflict is resolved, said Scott Trotter, spokesman for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
