LDSLiving.com Has a New Look: Here's What to Expect

After more than a year of preparation and planning, LDS Living is pleased to announce the launch of a new, upgraded LDSLiving.com.

The new site has a few changes to help you find the most interesting stories and articles, but even though the new site looks a little different, you can still find all the same great LDS content.

Here's what you need to know:

Where can I find my favorite LDS Living sections?

To help you find the content you're looking for, our new website now organizes our stories around a set of topics. To browse these, click "Topics" at the top of any page. Check out news "From the Church," follow the latest on "Famous Mormons," laugh with some LDS "Humor," or even just have a little "Fun."

You can also look for Popular stories or Mormon Report articles and Lesson Helps by clicking the links in the top menu.

Why make so many changes?

The new LDSLiving.com offers plenty of great new features we couldn't give you on the old website.

  • - The visual design helps highlight stories you find most interesting
  • - The topics you care about most are featured more heavily in the new design
  • - Stories are now organized by popularity
  • - Page load times are significantly faster

And a dozen other great features you can discover by clicking around!
How do I leave a comment on an article?

To help promote discussion in comments on our site, LDS Living has moved to using a new comment system called Disqus. To leave a comment, you can log into the system using a social media account like Facebook or Twitter, or you can create an account with Disqus to use on our site and others that have the Disqus plugin.

We are working to restore previous comments from the old website to be included on the new website.

Are you going to run the site differently now?

Many sections of the new site display according to popularity, and we're determined to find the best content for Mormons anywhere on the internet.

What about the free daily email newsletter--is that changing, too?

You don't need to make any changes to your email subscription. LDS Living will continue to deliver its daily digest of the best LDS news and blogs from around the web.

Not subscribed? Join our free daily newsletter by entering your email address at the bottom of this article.

What if I have a problem with the new website?

If you run into any problem on the new website, or need help finding something, you can chat with a live LDS Living representative by clicking on the orange "Need Help?" bar in the lower right corner of every LDSLiving.com page.
