Latter-day Saint NASA Engineer Creates Glitter Bomb to Pay Back Package Thieves, and the Video Is Blowing Up the Internet

Mark Rober—a BYU graduate and former NASA engineer—has put his education to work creating machines every little kid dreams of—a snowball machine gun, the world's largest nerf gun, a Guinness World Record-winning super soaker.

This winter, Rober decided to discourage package thieves by creating a glitter stink bomb, one that happened to also capture the reactions of the thieves when it exploded.

The video, which has been featured by CNN, New York Post, and other national media news outlets, has over 36 million views on YouTube in just three days.

Note: The following video contains profanity, most of which has been edited out.
