Man pleads no contest to stalking Mormon president

A homeless man has been ordered to serve probation after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor charge of stalking Mormon church president Thomas S. Monson. Third District Court Judge Randall Skanchy on Monday ordered Benjamin Tucker Staples to stay at least 1,000 feet away from the church's office building. Skanchy also ordered a mental evaluation.
