March Sharing Time

h2. Sharing Stories of Jesus *Preparation:* Obtain a bean bag or wooden heart or other object to pass around. Obtain several Gospel Art Kit pictures depicting the life of Christ. Arrange to have the pianist play "If the Savior Stood Beside Me," "Tell Me the Stories of Jesus," "Did Jesus Really Live Again?" and "I Feel My Savior's Love" during Sharing Time (or obtain a CD player and the Children's Songbook CDs). Post the pictures of Christ on the front board (for small primaries, arrange the chairs into a circle and place the pictures around the room). *Presentation:* Tell the children that you are going to play a game to see how much they remember about Jesus Christ. Show them the bean bag (or other object you have selected) and explain that they will pass it around as the pianist softly plays music. When the music stops the person holding the bean bag stands up and briefly tells a story about Jesus. If they know a Primary song that goes with the story you could have the children sing it. Point out the pictures you have posted, in case they need some reminders. Start the game yourself by retelling one of your favorite stories about the Savior. Then hand the bean bag to the first child as the music starts. Remind the children to pass the bean bag reverently until the music stops and to be thinking about Jesus Christ. Be available to whisper ideas and encouragement to any child who needs it. End the game with your testimony of Jesus Christ. Tell the children how much Jesus loves them and that through His Atonement we can live with our Father in Heaven again. Remind them that His life is a great example of how we should be living our lives.
