Mom creates free site for kids' scripture study

Everything Else

Angela Roberts searched for a free scripture reading site that her children could use for their personal scripture study. But she couldn't find one.

So she created it. Scriptures 4 Kids (online at scriptures.4kids.com) launched in February. Currently, it includes 71 different Doctrine and Covenants and Book of Mormon stories.

"I decided to come up with a system that would allow our children to study the scriptures daily at a very young age," said Roberts of Queen Creek, Ariz.

Each scripture story has four reading levels to choose from, audio narration for each level, an accompanying coloring page and a story question meant to launch insightful conversations within families.

But this isn't just for LDS families.

"I felt inspired and excited about not only being able to develop something that would benefit my children but something that could benefit children all over the world," Roberts said.
