Mormon blogger, a Romney critic, off the hook with church

Mormon blogger David Twede — accused of apostasy for critical web essays he wrote about LDS history, temple worship and contemporary issues — has been given a religious reprieve.

The church disciplinary council set for Sunday to decide whether to excommunicate him has been canceled, or postponed indefinitely, Twede said Thursday morning.
