Mormon health code has proven results

One evening as my family went to a local mall, my children noticed a movie theater inside. I told them it was a theater mostly for grown-ups because alcohol was served there. Then my daughter asked, “Mom, how old do you have to be to drink alcohol?”  When I responded that the legal drinking age was 21, I told her I how I had passed up that age long ago, and though I am legally able to drink, I have never had a sip of alcohol and never will.

For as long as I can remember, I was taught to obey a law of health called the Word of Wisdom.  In our Church, we refrain from drinking coffee, tea, alcohol, smoking cigarettes, or partaking of any other harmful substances since we believe that our bodies are sacred and house our spirit.
