Mormon on 'The Biggest Loser' meets baby son

Utahn Hap Holmstead got to hold his baby son for the first time when his Blue Team won a challenge on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser: Second Chances,” but his team lost the weigh-in, sending a team member home.

When the 26-year-old Pleasant Grove, Utah, resident came on “The Biggest Loser,” his wife was 8½ months pregnant with their third child. He got to see his son via video chat during the second episode, which aired Oct. 22.

This week’s challenge was filling trucks with boxes of food donated by the Biggest Loser resorts for Thanksgiving dinner, and the members of the winning team each got a visit from a family member.
