Mormon temple, Phoenix neighbors finally reach agreement

After nearly two years of arguing about the height, parking and lighting of a Mormon temple under construction in north Phoenix, neighbors and church officials have formed a compact.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints agreed to:

- Lower the Phoenix Temple's steeple by 10 feet.

- Turn off the lights at 10:15 p.m.

- Address traffic issues.
