Mormon youth lend a helping hand

On Sept. 21, youth from Yorba Linda's third ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints served a taco dinner with all the fixings to Canyon Hills students during the school's Back-to-School Night.

They set up tables, waited on students, then turned on the music for a dance.

While the students danced, teachers opened their doors for parents to view classrooms and meet with them.

About 160 students attended with parents and siblings, compared to three years ago only about 25 showed up.
