A former Cougar quarterback and Utah safety are among many Mormon NFL players who have something to prove this season.

Mormon Times counts 32 players on active NFL rosters who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with seven more on practice squads.

“They were impressed with everything and said to keep working hard,” Hall said. “Needless to say I was pretty excited.”
