Motherhood is a most rewarding career

I am an oddity for sure. I was born into a Jewish family and then converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was married far from home and then proceeded to give birth to nine children. Although marrying far from home is not that odd, according to worldly thought, bringing nine children into the world is.

Talk show hosts, news reporters and world commentators scorn and disfavor the responsibility of motherhood. So what is really wrong with having nine children? Women are encouraged to become doctors, attorneys, business owners and CEOs of major corporations. We are told to find ourselves in other careers, so why not find ourselves in motherhood?
