My mother was also my best friend. We had the opportunity to work together since I was born, because her and my father were self-employed. I spent every afternoon after school at work and many weekends too. The family motto was work hard, so we could play hard together. I worked with her until I was thirty, when she finally got to retire and become a snowbird spending winters in Arizona. She was also the grandest grandmother to my five children and enjoyed their company often.
