Police look again at case of men who jumped from LDS Church Office Building

For now, Salt Lake City prosecutors have opted not to file charges against the men suspected of base jumping from the LDS Church Office Building.

The case was returned to police detectives this week with a request they further investigate the case, said Scott Fisher, the first assistant prosecutor for Salt Lake City.

“If they come back to us with additional information, we’ll take another look at it,” Fisher said.

Salt Lake City police spokesman Dennis McGowan said detectives are still on the case.
