“President Monson was released from the hospital last evening, and plans to resume his normal schedule and duties today,” Church Spokesman Eric Hawkins said in a statement Thursday morning.
Monday evening President Monson was hospitalized to receive basic care. We are so grateful our prophet is home safe.
As President Dieter F. Uchtdorf said this general conference weekend, "[We are] especially grateful for the presence of our beloved prophet, Thomas S. Monson. President, we will always take to heart your words of direction, counsel, and wisdom. We love you, President Monson, and we always pray for you."
