The LDS Church Missionary Department has announced it will be closing the Missionary Training Center West facility at the Raintree apartments within the next few weeks.
The apartments at 1849 N. Freedom Blvd. were leased by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as were portions of the BYU-owned Wyview Park apartments at 146 W. 1940 North, as a short-term housing answer to the influx of missionaries at the Missionary Training Center.
