The Mormon I know

One aspect of America which has been crushed in the Culture War is the wealth of regional diversity that permeated the United States before the nationalization of television and radio. In the time before nationalnetworks, regions of this nation had their own personalities, dialects, customs and traditions which were life. The regional differences were so strong that both Northerners and Southerners would joke about the need for a passport to travel from one place to another. That cultural difference was really illuminated in the modern movie Sweet Home Alabama.
