Things to do at home between general conference sessions

Although general conference provides personal revelation and renews spiritual commitment, one thing it doesn’t provide is an open schedule.

As a result, it is helpful to maximize the limited two-hour period between morning and afternoon sessions. Here are some practical ideas to make your conference weekend memorable (some activities might be more appropriate for Saturday than for Sunday):

1. Go on an outdoor picnic: For some, the beauty of the April session is the approaching spring weather. As the landscapes turn green and the dandelions sprout, take a moment to relax outdoors and eat your favorite snacks.

2. Follow the prophet: Take the speaker’s advice by finding a pen and assigning your ideas, dreams and beliefs to paper. If you’re computer savvy, update your long-forgotten blog.
