At least two of the contestants on the 15th and final season of "American Idol" are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and they both have experience on singing shows.

Madilyn Paige, from Provo, Utah, competed on the sixth season of “The Voice.” After being eliminated from the show, Paige released an EP. Paige also wrote a song for the LDS Church's 2015 Mutual theme album, according to lds.org.
