Wading into Salt Lake, and Mormonism

Quick -- what comes to mind when you think of Salt Lake City? OK, I know, you never think of Salt Lake City. But say you did, just now. What would it be?

Mormons, right? Don't be ashamed. I was the same way. My mental file drawer labeled "Salt Lake City" held a single index card in it, and on that card was typed a single word: "Mormons."

Anything else? ("More Mormons" -- ha ha, very funny). Concentrate. Anything else besides adherents to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that you'd expect to find here? Hint: They call the place Salt Lake City. And how do you think they named it?
